Name requests for local Virgin Island residents and Virgin Island registered business entities are charged US $ 75.00, which covers the registration first year, after which the annual renewal fee is US $ 50.00. Premium names are excluded.

“Foreign” Name requests in .co.vi, .com.vi, .net.vi, .org.vi are charged at US $ 200.00, which covers the registration and first year, after which the annual renewal fee is US $ 75.00.
Effective Jan 1, 2014, COBEX no longer requires our client to go through an agent in order to register a foreign .vi domain name. “Non-Resident” Name requests in .vi are charged US $300.00, which covers the registration and first year, after which the annual renewal fee is $150.00.
We also charge a nominal US$15 fee for all modifications to admin, technical contact, and name server information.
There is no charge for changes to your personal address and contact information, including billing E-mail address changes.
Domain name deletions are also processed at no charge.
In addition, there is an additional charge for domain name registration transfers from one current registrant to another, with no deletion, equal to a current new domain registration fee.
A renewal during the 21-day grace period comes with a 15.00 fee.
A renewal during the 60-day redemption period comes with a 25.00 fee.

Payment is directly to the COBEX for VI REGISTRY, PO Box 1678, St. Thomas, VI 00804, or by Credit Card to the COBEX for NIC.VI using our secure commerce server. Card payments submitted electronically will be charged within 2 business days. The NIC.VI is the contractor responsible for the administration of the .VI domain. Please remember to reference your Domain Name(s) when making payment.
